Last week I went 9-6 in my picks putting my total this year at 31-16. I did better the first two weeks. There are some tough games this week, but I feel pretty confident. So here goes….
The New York Giants travel to Kansas City for a 1 p.m. game Sunday. The Giants have been pathetic this year. Each year they are eratic. They are an up and down team that is hard to figure out. I’m taking the Chiefs so you can count on a Giant win. LOL!
Kansas City 37, New York 28
The New York Jets play Tennessee away at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Even though the Jets won last week, they are not very good. The Jets 2-1 record is not going to stand. The Titans have been playing well. The edge has to go to the Titans in this one.
Tennessee 30, New York 20
The New England Patriots travel to Atlanta on Sunday night. The 3-0 start by the Pats is deceiving. They have not looked that good. I expect their first loss this week although being a fan, I am hoping that I am wrong.
Atlanta 24, New England 20
San Francisco 31, St. Louis 20 – 49ers Shine on Thursday night although St. Louis is tougher then many think.
Detroit 34, Chicago 33 – Home team prevails barely in this high scoring match-up
Arizona 24, Tampa Bay 10 – How bad are the Bucs? Bad enough to lose by at least two touchdowns to a poor team.
Minnesota 21, Pittsburgh 17 – Steelers are still struggling. I can’t pick them until they get their act together.
Indianapolis 28, Jacksonville 6 – Jaguars are the worst team in NFL, Need I say more?
Houston 24, Seattle 23 – Could go either way as it is the best game of the week. Taking Houston because they are at home. If it was in Seattle I would take the Seahawks.
Cincinnati 28, Cleveland 14 – Bengals take this game easily.
Oakland 24, Washington 20 – Tough to play in Oakland.
Denver 44, Philadelphia 21 – Go Peyton. Denver continues its dominance.
Dallas 27, San Diego 24 – Just a feeling.
New Orleans 41, Miami 35 – High scoring game on Monday night will be a thriller.
2. San Francisco
