I went 8-5 last week putting my total at 57-29 for the year. This is the time of year teams seem to get tired and almost anything is possible.
The New York Jets take on San Diego at home at 1 p.m. Sunday. I’m not convinced in the Jets. Philip Rivers can steal the show. A short week for the Jets, so I will go with a more consistent Charger team.
San Diego 28, New York 20
The New York Giants and the New England Patriots have a bye week.
Miami 28, Denver 20 – I don’t like Denver at all. Tim Tebow at QB is better than Kyle Orton, but Miami wins.
Tennessee 33, Houston 21 – A tale of two teams going in opposite directions. The Titans get better each week, while Houston (due mostly to injuries) drops.
Tampa Bay 23, Chicago 17 – Tampa is at home. Chicago is not as good as they appeared Sunday night. Take the Bucs!
Seattle 21, Cleveland 20 – I almost went the other way, but Seattle off a bye should be more prepared.
Carolina 30, Washington 21 – I like Cam Newton. The Panthers play this one tough.
Detroit 34, Atlanta 28 – I’m still on the Lions bandwagon. Atlanta can’t out run the Lions or stop them.
Arizona 23, Pittsburgh 20 – Yes, this would be an upset. I’m just not sold on the Steelers this year. They are overrated. I have to go with the Cardinals.
Oakland 32, Kansas City 24 – I like Oakland more than most people. This is a great rivalry, but Darren McFadden gains 200 yards.
Green Bay 31, Minnesota 23 – Green Bay will win and stay undefeated. Divisional games are harder than most people think, but the Vikings are bad. Even Adrian Peterson is slumping.
Dallas 27, St. Louis 17 – Dallas can’t lose to the Rams can they? Tony Romo holds on to the ball for a win this week.
New Orleans 41, Indianapolis 26 – I do not see the Saints losing at home to a horrible Colts team. An easy victory here for New Orleans.
Baltimore 32, Jacksonville 13 – The Ravens shine on Monday night. Poor Jaguars!
