I am 29-15 with my picks after week 3. Week 4 holds some really difficult match-ups.
The New York Giants are a 4 p.m. start at Arizona. I haven’t been right about the Giants all year. I’ve never been able to figure them out. I’m taking Arizona because it is a long road trip. I would not be surprised, however, to see the Giants win.
Arizona 28, New York 23
New England is at Oakland. Another team from the East is making a long road trip. I’m going with the Pats because I don’t see them losing two in a row. Once again this game can go either way. Oakland is coming off a big win against the Jets.
New England 31, Oakland 28
The New York Jets are the Sunday night game. They are at Baltimore. This is another tough game. I think right now the Ravens may be the better team. I guess Sunday night will tell us who really is better.
Baltimore 23, New York 20
Chicago 24, Carolina 21 – The Bears are at home and their defense will take care of Cam Newton.
Detroit 32, Dallas 24 – I’m not going to stop taking the Lions until they lose.
Minnesota 27, Kansas City 17 – Minnesota should finally win a game. The Chiefs go 0-4.
Buffalo 31, Cincinnati 18 – The Bills are on a high and as long as they keep their minds on the Bengals, they should win and be 4-0.
Tennessee 20, Cleveland 14 – I think Chris Johnson gets back to form in this game. I expect him to go over 150 yards.
Washington 28, St. Louis 13 – I just can’t see St. Louis winning very many games. They need a lot of work. The Redskins so far are a surprise.
Philadelphia 31, San Francisco 21 – I guess this again depends on if and how long Michael Vick plays. The Eagles are at home and can’t start off 1-3.
Houston 28, Pittsburgh 20 – The Steelers are not the team they were last year. Houston could run away with this one.
New Orleans 34, Jacksonville 23 – The Saints are not as good away as at home. That is why I gave the Jaguars a whole 23 points.
Atlanta 24, Seattle 10 – It’s time for the Falcons to wake up and shine.
Green Bay 34, Denver 10 – Green Bay’s offense is dynamic. The Broncos need help in both offense and defense. I expect a blowout.
San Diego 28, Miami 24 – The Chargers are at home and should take care of the Dolphins in a close game.
Tampa Bay 27, Indianapolis 17 – I don’t think the Colts can play well two games in a row. Josh Freeman should make a name for himself on Monday night.
