Take Safety Lessons Very Seriously

This week two areas of safety were discussed in bikes and fireworks. Summer is here and as they say it is time for dancing in the streets. It is not time, however, to be reckless when it comes to keeping safe, especially with our children.
The City held a clinic this week to teach kids to wear helmets and bright clothing and keep to bike safety rules.
The fire department is reminding people that anything that goes boom is illegal. Even sparklers can be dangerous if handled improperly.
Each summer we hear about some tragic accident. Let’s not have one of those happen in New Britain.
