BOE to Hold Super Session

The Board of Education met this week to review applications and select semifinalist for the position of superintendent of schools.
Forty-seven completed applications from a national pool were submitted for consideration, and 17 of those met the customized profile criteria decided by the school board. The Board, acting as the search committee, along with two advisory panels will conduct interviews on Monday, Feb. 27 - an all day event.
On Tuesday, Feb. 28 at 4 p.m. the Board will host a casual Meet and Greet session at New Britain High School for the community and two or three finalists. At 6 p.m. in the lecture hall, we a formal question and answer session will be held. A link will be available on the Board’s webpage for people to submit questions. A community feedback form will be available at the end of the Q & A.
On wed. Feb. 29th the Board will re-interview the finalists and make a determination if they have found a match for our school district.
