Pigskin Predictions

I was 9-4 last week and am 71-41 for the year. I have to admit there have been some very big surprises the last two weeks. My confidence is a bit shaken, but I am still way above.500.
The New York Jets take on Buffalo away at 1 p.m. Sunday. This game could be very close. Playing away should not affect the Jets too much. A nice division game. I will take the Bills by just a point.
Buffalo 24, New York 23
The New York Giants play New England in New England. The Giants always play the Pats tough. I think it will be high scoring. I expect the Pats to win because they are at home and don’t lose two in a row.
New England 34, New York 28
Other Picks
Dallas 24, Seattle 17 – I am going with the Cowboys because they are at home. They seem to play better in December.
Atlanta 42, Indianapolis 14 – Does anyone think the Colts will win a game? The Falcons are playing well and make this one look easy.
Houston 24, Cleveland 10 – Houston has come on the last few weeks. I think they take this one.
San Francisco 30, Washington 13 – I don’t think anyone predicted how good the 49ers would be. This should be an easy victory.
New Orleans 33, Tampa Bay 20 – I still like the Saints; especially at home.
Kansas City 34, Miami 14 – The Chiefs are another team playing well. The Dolphins continue to implode.
Cincinnati 24, Tennessee 21 – I can’t believe I’m picking Cincinnati, but they are better than I give them credit for.
Oakland 17, Denver 10 – It could go the other way, but I’ll take the home team.
Arizona 20, St. Louis 17 – I don’t really care who wins this one.
Green Bay 32, San Diego 24 – Green Bay is far superior, but it is hard to play on the west coast. I still say Packers win.
Pittsburgh 23, Baltimore 20 – Pittsburgh is out for revenge. They win, but the game stays close.
Philadelphia 28, Chicago 21 – I think the Eagles may finally turn it around on Monday night. It’s not too late for the Eagles to win their division as I predicted in week 1.
