Dream Cruise 2011 Scheduled for Aug 27-28

Be part of the largest car cruise ever to support Special Olympics! Dream Cruise 2011 is an opportunity for automotive enthusiasts from all over the northeast to come together for a great cause! This year in celebration of Jeep Wrangler’s 70th Birthday, Jeep Wrangler owners are invited to join in and “Drop their Tops” in support Special Olympics Connecticut at Dream Cruise 2011. Share the weekend with your friends, family and fellow cruisers as we celebrate the achievements of Special Olympics Athletes in our communities.

Saturday, August 27: Dream Cruise Party will begin at Papa’s Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in New Britain, and this year’s event promises to be another spectacular time filled with food, music, prizes and more. Plus, you will have the chance to meet several Special Olympians who will be positively impacted by your participation.

Sunday, August 28: On Sunday morning, join the Dream Cruise as we head from Papa’s in New Britain to Dream Ride 2011 in Farmington. This will be the largest car cruise ever for Special Olympics. Meet up with motorcycle enthusiasts who share our passion and commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

In celebration of Jeep Wrangler’s 70th Birthday “special Jeep Wrangler” parking will be available at both the New Britain and Farmington locations at the events.

Chasing Classic Cars, the Discovery Channel HD show, will be filming both at Papa’s and at the Farmington Club on Sunday, August, 28th. Chasing Classic Cars is a full-throttle, high-definition series that follows local resident, Wayne Carini, Special Olympics Supporter, Ferrari expert and master restorer, as he takes us on his personal mission to uncover great cars and secret collections.
