Avery’s Beverages Introduces “So Long, Osama”

Throughout the year’s Avery’s Beverages of New Britain has come out with many memorable soda flavors like, “Jingle Juice”, “Yellow Snow” and “Dick Blu-menthol”. But, its newest brand is one resident’s will be happy to drink.
Avery’s just introduced “So Long, Osama” which is a blood orange flavor.
“It was an historic event,” said Rob Metz, owner of Avery’s. “Once we saw the good news, we knew we had to make a soda to celebrate.”
Already, the popularity is huge and it may rival the soda company’s biggest introduction which was “Barack O’Berry” soda made of blue raspberry and a touch of pineapple to celebrate his Hawaiian heritage.
The new soda is the first one Avery’s has done featuring Osama Bin Laden and the first one celebrating a death.
Over 100 stores across the country sell Avery’s brand soda and Village Spring Water. Those from New Britain can stop by the store at 520 Corbin Ave. to pick up a bottle, a six-pack or a case of a variety of sodas.
Avery’s, who has been selling beverages for over 100 years, also makes specialty soda’s with special labels for birthdays, weddings, bat and bar mitzvahs and more for interested customers.
And for those who just like cool names, check out the Totally Gross flavors of “Dog Drool”, “Monster Mucus”, “Kitty Piddle”, “Swamp Juice”, “Bug Barf” and “Toxic Slime”.
