Phoenix Theater Company Presents “Parallel Lives” July 6

Phoenix Theater Company continues their 2018 season with Mo Gaffney and Kathy Najimy’s “Parallel Lives” at the Carriage House Theater located at 360 Farmington Avenue in Hartford, Ct., across the street from the Mark Twain House. The show runs Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from July 6th through the 22nd. Doors open at 7:30 and show starts at 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Doors open at 1:30 and show starts at 2 p.m. on Sundays.
The show discusses the beginning of life’s trials and tribulations when two supreme beings plan the beginning of the world. The audience is taken on a journey with five women, portraying both men and women, struggling with the common ritual of life: teens on a date, sisters at their grandmothers funeral, a man and a woman at a western bar and much more. With endless humor and a touch of drama, “Parallel Lives” reexamines the ongoing quest to find parity and love in a messed up world.
The cast includes Em Mazotas (Middletown), Nicole Morin (Middletown), Kristina Pugatch (Colchester), Mary Sawyer (Colchester) and Amanda Thomas (Hamden). Production staff include Director Chris Ryan (Bristol), Production Manager Daniel East (Colchester) and Assistant Production Manager Jenn Lohmann (Wethersfield). Parking is available in Mark Twain parking lot across street and refreshments will be available. Admission is $22 for everyone.
