It was a big relief to see the Yankees finally win a series over Seattle. We took it 3-1. The last time the Yanks won a series was in early June.

So far I have not been impressed with new acquisition Todd Frazier. I will definitely give him more time. I just hope he is not another old player in his twilight years. I definitely would stick to the rookies. A .203 batting average is nothing to be proud of.

Aaron Judge seems back after a slow return from the all-star break. He hit a couple homers. I was afraid of a slump as he expanded his strike zone.

Did you know at home he is hitting .377 (second in the majors) with a .489 on-base percentage (first) and an .834 slugging percentage (first)? He has an amazing 21 home runs in 42 home games. I expect a few more home runs in Yankee Stadium this week.

This week the Yanks take on Cincinnati and Tampa Bay. Tampa Bay is an important series. The Rays are right there ready to pounce. This series is crucial. A split is alright, but New York cannot lose the series. Tampa Bay can just snag the division. They are playing well.

Boston is playing Seattle this week so they can win that series. Yanks can’t falter.

I believe CC Sabathia will make sure several games are close. Not sure what to think about Masahiro Tanaka. He seems to have lost his rhythm. Jordan Montgomery has been up and down. Luis Severino usually pitches a good game.

Which pitcher do you think is playing the best right now?
