It was exciting to see so many Yankees make it to the All-Star game.

Aaron Judge was an easy choice as he was top vote getter. Others will include Pitchers Luis Severino and Dellin Betances, Catcher Gary Sanchez and Second Baseman Starlin Castro.

Severino is 5-4 and surely would have more wins if not for the bullpen. Betances has been awful as of late. He has blown games twice in a row. He was strong, however, at the start of the season.

Sanchez has 13 home runs and 40 RBI, but missed a month of the season. Castro is presently injured, but started the year very well. He has 12 home runs and 45 RBI.

I thought Brett Gardner and Aaron Hicks also deserved some thought.

Elvis Andrus, Xander Bogaerts, Yankees Didi Gregorius, Logan Morrison and Mike Moustakas are candidates for the American League Final Vote.

I like Gregorius, but believe Morrison deserves it. He has 24 home runs and 46 RBI’s compared to Gregorius at 10 home runs and 36 RBI.

So how about those Yankees this past week? I saw two of the worst losses I have seen from this team. Betances and Aroldis Chapman could not find the plate. and when they did it was a hit.

General Manager Brian Cashman needs to look for relievers. Forget about finding a new first baseman. Get someone who doesn’t blow it late in the game.

At first it was only Tyler Clippard. Now Chad Green is the only one I have any confidence in pitching.

Manager Joe Girardi is making some bad calls by relying on just a few guys. There needs to be some other pitchers.

To be honest, I can barely watch any more. I am just waiting for the other team to catch up in every game. I bleed blue and white, but c’mon bullpen, play with some guts.
