UpBeat Pancake Breakfast

It’s that time of year to get hungry for pancakes.

The Kiwanis Club of Berlin will be holding the 23rd annual Upbeat Pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 18 from 7:30 to 11 a.m. at the American Legion Hall on Porters Pass in Berlin.

All the proceeds from this event all go to the Berlin High School Upbeat program.

The students get the hall ready, setting up tables, chairs and decorations and during the breakfast wait on tables. They also sell the tickets which are also available at the door.

The Kiwanis members do the cooking and a special thanks goes to Kiwanis member Richard Glidden, who sold ads for the placemats and to the merchants who purchased them.

Thanks to Stop & Shop & McDonalds for supplies for pancake mix and maple syrup.

Tickets $5 at the door or from any upbeat member.

Bring a hardy appetite, its all you can eat.

Every single penny the Berlin Kiwanis Club brings in goes directly back to the Children of Berlin.

Programs such as;

  • Berlin Upbeat – High School leadership Program
  • Challenger Day – Sports for the physically challenged
  • Town Wide Youth Sports,
  • Youth Museum at Hungerford Park
  • Education Scholarships and much more.

To become a Kiwanis member call Charlie Eisenhofer at 860-826-5517.
