Family Fun – Valentine Wreath

It’s almost Valentine’s Day! There are so many fun things to make with the kids for Valentine’s Day it was hard to choose! I hope you like our beautiful wreath.

Materials:

Cardboard

Scissors

White glue

Tissue paper

Charms

How to:

We started with a square of cardboard that was about 12 inches. We cut out a square from the center that is about 4 inches. Your measurements may vary and that’s ok! You can make this as large or small as you wish.

We tore tissue paper into strips then into rough squares. Spread glue over a section of your wreath.Gather and scrunch at the center and glue onto the board. We filled the shape as much as we could until we could not see the cardboard anymore. Depending on your child’s age and attention span you might do this project over a session or two. When your wreath has been filled flip it over and attach a ribbon or string to hang it. We also suspended a heart shape in the middle. Happy Valentine’s Day!
