Family Fun - Halloween

Halloween is edging ever closer not that I want to speed up the month! There are so many fun things to do this month. Let’s play with ghosts and spiders and things that creep in the night! If you add a bit of glow in the dark paint it adds a whole new element to these fridge magnets! Let’s get to it!
Materials:
Popsicle sticks
Googly eyes
Green, white and black paint.
Elmer’s glue or glue gun if you are in a hurry!
Magnets
How to:
For each “body” line up at least 6 popsicle sticks. On the back glue one or two stick across to hold everything together.
For the ghost: Paint the entire body white. You will have to do at least 2 coats. Wait about 10 minutes between each coat so the paint dries. If you are feeling very spooky - add one more coat of glow in the dark paint now. Let dry. I cut out 2 black circles of felt and one slightly smaller circle for the mouth. Glue in place. Flip over and glue on your magnet. Done!
For the Spider: Add 4 legs on the back. I broke 2 sticks in half and made my legs. Glue in place. Paint the entire “body” black. Add Googly eyes and a white painted smile. Just for fun if you have glow in the dark paint, paint that smile again with it. Flip over and glue on your magnets. Done!
Frankenstein: Add 1/2 a popsicle stick to the side of his face on the back. Paint your entire “body” green. When dry paint the hair with black paint. I added the googly eyes then painted the rest of the face. Turn him over and add your magnet. Done!
Now go spook someone!
