We would like… if we may… to take you on a strange journey. Join the Phoenix Theater Company for our production of “The Rocky Horror Show,” October 14-29, at Trinity-on-Main at 69 Main St. Of course there will be special midnight shows. This 70s cult classic is known for its campy humor and audience participation. See mad scientist Frank N Furter corrupt the innocent Brad and Janet and try to make his perfect man. Join Magenta and Riff-Raff in their memories of happier days. Watch Columbia and Eddie have a good time… for a while anyway See Dr. Scott roll around the stage and hear Rocky grunt. Heckle the Narrator as he abuses you right back! Prop bags will be sold so you can make yourselves part of the fun!
The leads are portrayed by Michael Gonsalves (Ellington) as Frank N Furter, Dani Kay (Bantam) as Janet, Marc Constanzo (Seymour) as Brad, Jenn Lohmann (Wethersfield) as Magenta, Jeanine Pray (Terryville) as Columbia, Daryel Gonzalez (South Windsor) as Eddie/Doctor Scott and Chazz Logue (Meriden) as Rocky Horror. Gabbie Hasson (Ellington) and Jessica Bartolotta (Cromwell) will open the show as the Usherettes. Jason Ferrandino (New Britain) returns to fling insults and rebukes as the beloved and belittled Narrator.
Also in the talented cast are Harper Liles (New Haven), Diamond Keith (Hartford), Simone Matusevice (Woodbury), Michael Rivera (Waterbury), Kimit Trotman (East Haven) and Liza Rybitski (Bantam).
The show will be Directed by Chris Ryan (Bristol) and Music Directed by Matt Durland (East Haddam). Choreography is by Gabbie Hasson (Ellington) and set design and construction is by Christopher Ryan (Bristol). Lighting and sound design are by Joe Marturano of Thunder and Lighting Productions and photography and graphic design is by Jason Ferrandino (New Britain). The Costumer is Dani Kay (Bantam). Makeup and set construction is by cast members.
The Phoenix Theater Company will bring “The Rocky Horror Show” to Trinity-on-Main at 69 Main Street in Downtown New Britain, CT, on October 14, 15, 21, 22, 28 & 29 at 8 p.m. with special Midnight performances on the Saturdays, October 15, 22 and 29.
