Top 10 Car Repair Shops in New Britain/Berlin

This month for our Top 10, the New Britain City Journal Facebook group was asked to name their top 10 Car Repair Service places in New Britain/Berlin. Many people had a lot of opinions. Here are the results.
- Ceglarz Motor Repair & Sales Inc., 681 W. Main St. New Britain takes the top spot by a landslide. Reader comments “Ceglarz is the only shop I’ll bother going to anymore. Never tries to sell me on fixes I don’t need, always has reasonable prices.”
- J & R Automotive Services, 2056 Stanley St. New Britain comes in at a clear Number two. “Brakes, tune-ups, shocks, oil changes.”
- Story Brothers Auto, 84 Burritt St., New Britain rounds out the top 3. Readers said they have received good service and have gone there for many years.
- Ron’s Automotive Repair Inc., 928 Farmington Ave., Berlin. Ron’s takes the number 4 spot, but is tops for Berlin. Second generation family owned business offering good service.
- Central Connecticut Automotive, 1108 East St. New Britain. Customers say it is a great place to deal with.
- Rich’s Citgo III, 116 Main St. Berlin. A Berlin staple for many years. It does various auto repair services.
- Meineke Car Care Center at 46 Washington St, New Britain Meineke says, “At Meineke we strive to help people get back to what’s important to them and on with life.”
- Automotive Connection, 175 Newington Ave., New Britain Reader comments “honest, good service and family owned!”
- A1 Transmission at 51 Wooster St., New Britain Father and son owned business doing general repairs as well as transmission.
- Kenwood Auto Body, 161 Massirio Drive, Berlin rounds out our Top 10.
