Family Fun – Fall Tree
By Scraptivity in Berlin at September 22, 2023 | 7:15 pm | Print
Spoooky or friendly? You decide!
Using a variety of materials we will create a nighttime fall scene. Shiny black contact paper mounted on sturdy cardboard create the base for our beautiful tree. Brown craft paper cut free form into a tree shape and glued creates texture and opportunity for the colorful buttons to be showcased. Full moon? Crescent moon? What’s your pleasure? A couple of snips of a scissor and colorful paper may add a bird or a swing to your tree.
Materials:
Sturdy cardboard
Black Contact paper
Brown craft paper
Construction paper
Buttons
Glue
Scissors
How to:
Cut your black contact paper to cover your cardboard.
Either draw your tree shape on to brown construction paper or cut free form. Branches can always be added as you craft.
Glue your tree to the contact paper. I chose to not put my tree in the center.
Scatter buttons on your tree . Play with your arrangement until you are satisfied. Add a drop of glue to the back of your button. Will you add a swing? A moon? A bird?
Hang and enjoy!
