St. Francis of Assisi Church 75th Jubilee Celebration, October 1, 2

The parish of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 1755 Stanley Street in New Britain, CT will be celebrating the 75th Jubilee Anniversary of the Church on the weekend of October 1, 2 with several events to be held at the Church.
Parishioners who have helped to put this celebration together are: Co-Chairs: Carl & Dottie Krein and Ed & Joan Mercier. Members of their committee are: Gerry & Lisa Amodio, Paul Altieri, Paula Boyer, Patrick Bridgette, Michael & Rita Carrier, Norm & Huguette Dube, Kevin Dumais, Gil & Martha Gigliotti, Mary LeBel, James & Myrna Mercado, Pat Rudnansky, Chris Ryba, Carol Russell, President of the Parish Council and Father George Auguscik, Administrator.
On Saturday, October 1, clergy, parishioners, and friends of the Church will hold a dinner in the Church Hall catered by Jeske Catering. The event will commence with a cocktail hour beginning at 6 p.m. with complimentary wine, beer, soda and assorted hors d’oeuvres; dinner will be served at 7 p.m. The price of the dinner is $40 per person and reservations can be made by contacting the parish secretary, Paula Boyer at 860-225-6449. Former parishioners are welcome to attend. Seats are limited.
The following day, Sunday, October 2, a Concelebrated Mass of Thanksgiving will take place at the Church at 10 a.m. Following the Mass a reception hosted by the Ladies’ Guild will be held in the Church Hall where friends can meet and enjoy the fellowship of over three quarters of a century of Christian commitment to the parish and the overall community.
