Connecticut Theatre Company is opening their latest production, the comedic farce Boeing Boeing on Friday August 12th. The play, originally written in 1962 by Marc Camoletti and turned into a movie released in 1965, tells the story of Parisian bachelor Bernard and his three flight attendant fiancés. Bernard has a tried and true system for making certain that each of his fiancés flies a different route for a different airline, but with the release of the newest Boeing Boeing jet, the timetables change, and all three girls show up the same night!

The play is co-directed by Duane Campbell of New Britain and Johnny Revicki of Manchester. The two were drawn to the story for both is comedic appeal and its commentary on the misogyny of the swinging 60s. Director Johnny Revicki states, “Through it’s retro humor and farce, we can remember our past and move forward into the future.”

Connecticut Theatre Company, a local non-profit theatre, casts each show with tremendous local talent. This production is no different and stars Steffon Sampson of Southington, Damian Dominguez of West Hartford, Mary Roane and Erin Campbell of New Britain, Brooke Ferguson of New Hartford and Laura Bailey of Bristol.

Boeing Boeing runs for two weekends, August 12th - August 21st. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for adults and $16 for students and seniors. Tickets can be purchased online at www.connecticuttheatrecompany.org or bought at the door. All performances are held at the historic Repertory Theatre in New Britain.
