I am very proud of the way the Yankees are playing right now. I still do not expect a lot of this team, but it is good to see some life in them.
I noticed a lot of good hitting come from youngsters like Aaron Hicks, Dustin Ackley, Ronald Torreyes and Rob Refsnyder.
Since Alex Rodriguez has been on the disabled list, Carlos Beltran has been playing DH. Beltran can still hit. Just don’t let him play outfield. I hope ARod’s return does not mess things up. If it does, ARod needs to be a pinch hitter. ARod may be unhappy, but too bad.
The Yankees need to win. Third place is better than last, but let’s see if we can do better.
I also need to continue to complain to Comcast and the YES Network. Get your acts together and let us watch baseball. This disagreement is pitiful. Work something out.
I am shocked to see the Toronto Blue Jays in last place in the American League East. I thought they would go far. The Kansas City Royals are not playing up to their potential.
At least the Chicago Cubs, my projected World Series winner, is playing well.
I’m not sure who I like to make it to the World Series if Kansas City and Toronto falter. Certainly not the Red Sox. Yuck!
I could deal with The White Sox. A Chicago/Chicago match-up would be exciting. I still would root for the Cubs.
This week the Yankees are playing Tampa Bay and Toronto. It could be a good time for the Yankees. I would like to see them go 8-2 in the next 10 games. What do you think?
