New Hours for Golf Course Driving Range

Stanley Golf Course has extended the hours of the driving range.
The nineteen station covered, heated and lighted driving range is open weekdays and weekends at 7 a.m. and will stay open until 9 p.m. on weekdays and until 8 p.m. on weekends.
Swing into spring by hitting a small bucket of balls for $5, medium bucket for $7.50, or a large bucket for only $10.
“Being a golfer myself, I just want to perfect my swing and the driving range allows golfers to do so at their own convenient time” said Mayor Timothy Stewart.
“The newly installed lights in the parking lot and driving range are the newest energy efficient and green Musco lights on the market. The newly installed heaters are propane charged and offer the latest radiant and efficient technology in the golf business” said Bill DeMaio, Director of Parks and Recreation. The lights will enable the range to stay open after dark and allow golfers to practice their game when it is convenient for them.”
