Bees Host Anthem Idol April 9

New Britain Bees management today announced that the team will host the first-ever “Anthem Idol” to find National Anthem Singers on April 9th. The event will take place at New Britain Stadium (230 John Karbonic Way, New Britain) from 9 AM – 12 PM.
Performances must be done a capella with a time limit of one minute and 30 seconds. Anthem lyrics must be sung from memory, and instrumentalists or other unique performers are encouraged to participate as well. No tapes will be accepted. Performers will be judged by members of the Bees’ front office staff.
