My prayers go to Brussels this week as another horrible terrorist attack took place. Every few months some tragedy seems to occur somewhere in the world. It is just awful that so much violence seems to happen.

Everyone must always be on the lookout for something unusual. Even if we are unsure we must report something. It’s very difficult to be sure what is suspicious.

I want to wish everyone who celebrates the holiday a very Happy Easter on Sunday. It came early this year just like Spring. I certainly hope we are done with snow for the season. I’ve had more than enough.

I’m ready for flea markets, picnics and baseball.

Were you able to get a Butter Lamb at St. Lucian’s? They were selling like hotcakes. They made 200 ahead of time and they were gone quickly. The workers were busily making more for the crowds. The line was way out the door.

The Little Poland Festival is April 24. Isn’t it amazing how much it has grown since Lucian Pawlak took charge. He has done an amazing job. It has become a big event in this City. It is one of my favorites for sure. It starts around 10 a.m. and lasts until 5 or 6 p.m. The food is great as is the entertainment. I love all the costumed characters. I must admit The Incredible Hulk is my favorite.

We will have much more coming soon including a full schedule of events. We know you don’t want to miss a single thing.

I met a number of people this week who told me this column is the first thing they read in the paper. I must be saying something interesting to keep everyone reading.

Time for my Facebook joke.

“Lies I tell myself: Just 1 more episode! Just 1 more page! Just 1 more piece! Just 5 more minutes!”

I bet you tell yourself the same thing. I usually say just 5 more minutes when I am on the Internet. Next time I look, it has been 30 minutes.
