It boggles my mind that some people are passing out flyers and holding rallies against something that does not exist.
There is nothing being done to stop polling places being eliminated. As far as I can tell there is nothing being done to change the present neighborhood voting system either. These are all fabrications. Yet, some people are letting their imagination go wild.
I think it is all political brouhaha.
Don’t listen to their lines. We will tell you what changes are taking place. And when a decision is made, the public can vote on it.
At that time a rally, if needed, would be more appropriate. In fact, it would be a good idea. But, to hold one now is putting the cart before the horse.
Fighting against something that doesn’t exist makes absolutely no sense. It’s just trying to look for a reason to gain attention.
This Charter Revision Commission needs to be allowed to do its job without misinformation. No one will be happy with all decisions made. Let’s just wait and see what they do before getting all upset over nothing.
Are you excited about baseball yet? The Bees begin April 21. I plan on attending as many games as possible this year. The stadium is not completely renovated, but looks amazing so far.
I can’t wait for warm weather and baseball. It is slowly coming.
The golf season began Wednesday with Mayor Erin Stewart hitting the first ball. I don’t golf, but it is another representative of Spring so I like it.
There are signs up showing up for a new pizza place at the old TOOLS Tavern on Main St. at the Andrews Building. No details yet, but something is definitely on the way. Hopefully it will open in time for Spring.
It seems this Spring will bring a lot of changes to the City. I hope they are all positive. I saw they are working on Central Park again. I would expect some kind of ribbon cutting.
Don’t miss the next Solar Seminar on March 22 at 6 p.m. It is at Scraptivity in Berlin at 1020 Farmington Ave. Or call 860-357-1091 for more information. I hope to see you all there.
Is it time for a joke from Facebook? How is this one?
“My wife says I talk in my sleep. I don’t believe her because no one at work has ever told me that.”
Maybe, sleeping at work is not a good idea. Especially if you talk in your sleep.
