Simsbury Bank has graciously invited CCARC to display some very special artwork throughout the month of February at its Dale Road location in Avon. The artists are individuals served by CCARC’s dayservices programs. Headquartered in New Britain, CCARC’s Mission is to “Make Dreams Happen” for men and women who face the daily, lifelong challenges of living with intellectual disabilities such as Down Syndrome, as well as autism, cerebral palsy and multiple other physical limitations. Creating artwork is proving to be a powerful means of expression for these adults. The theme of the exhibit is “Making Dreams Happen Through Art.”
Robin DiNicola, VP and Senior Marketing Manager for Simsbury Bank said, “Simsbury Bank is delighted to provide a public venue for this important artwork to be appreciated. We trust our customers and visitors will be inspired by the beauty and creativity of the display.”
Founded in 1952, CCARC serves more than 200 men and women through both day and residential services. Learn more at www.ccarc.com.
