Family Fun - Gem Trees

This week we are playing with pipe cleaners and rocks and beads! This activity is great for all ages and a great way to use all those pretty beads!
Materials:
3 pipe cleaners
A small rock
A handful of pony beads
Glue
We selected rocks that were mostly flat on the bottom and wrapped pipe cleaners around them. If the branches are not long enough it’s easy to wind them around another branch and extend. When you have enough branches on your tree it’s time to start adding the beads! You may want to add a drop of glue to the last bead just to hold it on. This is a fun easy project for any age.
