I went 4-0 last week to put my record at 171-78 for the year.
There are only 3 games left in the season and I will analyze what I see happening as of today.
My prediction:
New England at Denver looks to be a great game. The Patriots should win this as they have the better offense if all things are clicking. As much as I love Peyton Manning, he still does not look 100 percent.
I do believe Denver’s defense is better than New England’s. If the defense can hold Tom Brady the game will be close.
I hope it does not go into overtime. If it does, I suggest New England take the football.
As a fan, I actually might be happier to see the Patriots lose this week because I don’t believe they can beat either Arizona or Carolina.
New England 27, Denver 24
In the Sunday game I have to take Carolina. I think both teams are very good. I like Cam Newton much more than Carson Palmer. I also like the Panthers defense. I think they are better than people think.
Carolina 23, Arizona 21
So, although I may analyze this further if things change, my Superbowl prediction at this time is for Carolina to win it all. I believe New England is very good, but they can be beaten. Carolina is just the right team to do that.
And just a reminder. In week 1. I took Indianapolis and Arizona to be in the Superbowl. At least the Cardinals had a good season.
My Superbowl prediction is:
Carolina 24, New England 20
