Winter Fairies!

Here at Scraptivity we love our fairies! Here is a lovely fairy using natural materials.
You will need:
Pine cones
An acorn with a cap
2 matching Pipe cleaners
Glue gun & tacky glue
Small amount of paint
Glitter to match the paint
Ribbon for hanging
- Paint your pine cone.
- Paint the cap of your acorn
- You may want to hot glue your acorn cap to your acorn
- Form your pipe cleaners into wings. You will need 2 for each fairy.
When your pine cone has been painted it’s possible to sprinkle your glitter directly onto the paint. It should stick. If you want better glitter coverage let the paint dry then paint with a small amount of tacky glue then glitter.
- Hot glue your acorn to the top of your pine cone to form a head and cap.
- Hot glue your ribbon to the back of the head. (if you glue it to the pinecone it will not hang straight.
- Hot glue your wings to the pine cone.
- Done! Hang in the window to admire!
