Kensington Congregational Church Presents “A Night In Bethlehem”

“Oh Come All Ye Faithful” to Kensington Congregational Church to experience a unique celebration of the true meaning of Christmas. “A Night in Bethlehem” will transport you back to the days of long ago and to the humble manger where a living nativity, complete with live stable animals, welcomes the birth of the Christ Child.

Journey back in time to the village of Bethlehem as it was the night Jesus was born.

Guests will experience that night through the sights, sounds, smells and family friendly hands-on activities available during their visit. Enjoy the sounds of the season as festive music rings through the air of the bustling village. Explore the busy Martketplace of Bethlehem where you can learn to write Hebrew, play Dreidel, watch raw wool being spun, sample popular foods of the day or help the village potter make his wares. Then stay for an engaging re-enactment of the Christmas story with music and pageantry.

“A Night in Bethlehem” is a free admission community event and will be presented on Sunday, Dec. 13th.

Village hours are 4:30 – 6:15 p.m. with the Christmas story re-enactment beginning at 6:30. Homemade desserts and seasonal hot beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.
