Ceana Rodriguez has Done it Again

After traveling over 14 hours from US to South Korea, Rodriguez competed & represented the United States in not just one, but two international competitions in South Korea. Rodriguez has again made history by winning in both the Jeonju Open International Taekwondo Championships & the Chuncheon Korea Open International Taekwondo Championships in the same year.

Ceana captured Gold in both tournaments for the United States. With over 2,000 competitors & staff from over 50 countries, Rodriguez defeated the countries of Africa, Russia, Kazakhstan, Korea, & Uzbekistan in the final gold medal match. Rodriguez is having a Cinderella season, by not just winning 2 gold medals for the United States & coming off 3 consecutive US Nationals wins, yet alone the current 2x ATU Team member, 4x Team USA member & 6x AAU National championship.

Only 16yrs of age, this marks Rodriguez’s 126 medals count wins. Rodriguez will now be training with the Korean team until the end of August in South Korea. After returning back to the US, Rodriguez will meet with fellow Team USA members in September to once again represent the United States in 2015 Pan Am Junior Games in Aguascalientes, Mexico.
