It was a great week of football. A lot of games really cleared the picture up of who is top tier and who is a pretender.
The key to winning the Superbowl for me is to be hot at the right time. Several teams are really hot right now. Can they continue to play this well? We shall have to wait and see.
Arizona did not play an amazing game, but played well enough to beat the Detroit Lions.
That was a big win and keeps them on top. Regardless of not having the best quarterback in the league, the Cardinals deserve to be ranked at number one.
If they can win it all with what they have is a mystery.
The New England Patriots continued to shine on Sunday night. They really are the hottest team out there. No one seems to be able to beat them at this moment. Unfortunately, this moment does not count as much as January and February.
Green Bay was dominant and will definitely gain a spot in the top 5 of my list. They really looked fantastic and can be scary in the playoffs. They did lose to Detroit earlier, but that was then and this is now.
Detroit lost to Arizona. Its offensive power was lacking. Unless Matt Stafford picks it up, Detroit will not go too far.
Kansas City beat Seattle but right now the Seahawks are not a great team. The Chiefs are very good. They could surprise a lot of people. Do not underestimate them.
Dare I say Denver lost to St. Louis dropping them a bit in my eyes.
Next week New England and Detroit will be a fun game to watch. I expect a high scoring game.
Seattle and Arizona could be a good match. If Seattle shows up they can win, but Arizona will be ready. If the Seahawks do not win this game, I think they are in trouble. It is a must win for them.
Other than those games, I am looking forward to Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to watch those game no matter how competitive they are. Love me some turkey and football.
