Dallas, Denver, Green Bay and Philadelphia all looked impressive last weekend.
Pittsburgh fell to the New York Jets. What happened there? One week Pittsburgh scores 6 touchdowns and then they barely score one.
The NFL season has been like that all year.
During the first half of the game it looked like Arizona might lose to St. Louis. I was a bit worried because that would have meant I would have had to put the Patriots in the Number One spot. That would have jinxed them for a month.
Next week the Pats take on Indianapolis. That has to be the game of the week. I think it is going to be high scoring. I have to pick the Pats because they are playing so well. I will not be surprised to see the Colts win. Of course it is the Sunday night game so I have to wait all day Sunday. At least it is not the Monday night game.
Green Bay and Philadelphia should be another fun game to watch. Both teams have been up and down and it will interesting to see if the Packers can win at home and try to jump into my Top 5 next week.
Cincinnati and New Orleans could be a good game too. Both teams had high expectations to start the year and have faltered. The Saints are tough at home, but I am leaning towards the Bengals.
My underdog pick this year in the Detroit Lions are still in first in the NFC North at 7-2. They play Arizona in a game I don’t think they will win. It would be nice to see quarterback Matt Stafford finally get on track.
The only winless team – The Oakland Raiders – take on the San Diego Chargers this week. Anything can happen in football. Maybe even the Raiders will win.
I had to have two teams at Number 5 in my Top 5 this week. On Thanksgiving Day the two teams play and only one will remain.
