I don’t even know where to start talking about last week. It was difficult for me to see Dallas and Indianapolis lose. I had them ranked high and boom disaster happens.
How do the Colts lose to the Steelers? I’m sorry Pittsburgh fans but seriously the Steelers are not that good this year.
And Washington is pathetic. Dallas played horribly. If Tony Romo ends up seriously injured, the team is in for more letdowns.
The only team that continued to shine was Denver. Their victory over San Diego was just fun to watch. Can this team be the best ever? The offense is just phenomenal. Peyton Manning is a star among starts.
My Patriots played well also. Yes. I just may have to put them back in the Top 5 this week. They beat Chicago badly. Tom Brady is playing better than ever. If the defense gets its act together, the Patriots will go far. Rob Gronkowski finally got his game together. It was a thing of beauty to watch.
But alas, the Patriots play Denver next week. It will be a shoot out and I don’t believe the Patriots will win it. I think this could be the game of year. I hope it goes down to a last second field goal. If it is close it will be a good sign for my Pats. Anything but a blow-out is a plus.
Do you remember how I predicted Miami and Detroit would be big factors this year? Detroit is winning the AFC North division, but instead of Miami, Buffalo seems to be the underdog team to look out for in the AFC.
Buffalo has a very strong defense. Its offense is getting better. They could just sneak in and grab a wildcard spot this year. Don’t underestimate them.
This week there are many good games like Dallas and Arizona, Philadelphia and Houston and Baltimore at Pittsburgh on Sunday night.
Almost every team out there has at least two loses. Football is very hard to predict. Any team can win at any time. I still like Seattle despite it recent poor play. I can’t keep them out of my Top 5, but it is hard to keep them in also. So here is my compromise.

1. Denver
2. Arizona
3. Indianapolis
4. New England
5. Dallas/Seattle
