Pigskin Predictions

In no way am I a Dallas fan, but how ‘bout them Cowboys? What a great game they played on Sunday. To beat the defending Superbowl Champions is a big deal, but beating them in Seattle is huge.

I was very impressed by Dallas. They really put it all together on Sunday. Let’s see how long that lasts.

I thought my Patriots were also quite impressive. They could not move the ball in the first half, but whatever the coaches did for the second half was fantastic. Tom Brady ended up having one of his best days ever. I just want to see Rob Gronkowski catch more touchdowns. He really seems to lift the team.

Indianapolis also sparkled on Thursday night. I like them more each week.

Did you see the Cincinnati/Carolina game? That last second missed field goal in overtime was ridiculous. Fire the kicker. It was a real disaster.

Other than Cleveland beating Pittsburgh there were not a lot of surprises this week. It went much as I expected.

I know I did well on my picks.

Week 7 starts off with Patriots on Thursday night against the Jets. Division rivals always play each other tough. I hope the Pats are not in for a letdown game.

New Orleans at Detroit looks like it may be a shootout. The Giants and Dallas could be a fun game to watch depending on which Giant team shows up.

The best game is San Francisco at Denver on Sunday night. I really am not sure how good the 49ers are. This will be a very telling game. I thought these two had a chance to meet in a Superbowl this year. Denver looks on track at least.

I picked Matt Stafford as MVP (as well as my fantasy team quarterback). I wish instead I picked Andrew Luck. So far this year he is the best player in football with 1,987 passing yards with 17 touchdowns. Stafford has 1,592 and 7 TDs.

My Top 5 changed a little bit as San Diego did not play well. Yes, my Pats are back. You had to know they would be in there soon.

Top 5

1. Seattle

2. Denver

3. Indianapolis

4. Dallas

5. New England
